This qualification is offered as a dual diploma inclusive of National Diploma in Preschool Teacher Training and Pearson assured Diploma in Montessori Method and Primary Teacher Training. The unit contents cover the main components of Preschool Method Theory, Preschool Method Practical, Child Psychology and Montessori Method Theory and Practical further with On-the-Job Training.

This qualification is a mandatory requirement to be a registered Montessori/Pre-school teacher in Sri Lanka.

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education Final Year

• 6 Passes in G.C.E O/Ls including Mathematics with A,B or C pass for English Language Subject

If the candidate has passed English with an S pass, she must have followed an English Language Diploma course from a recognized institute.

DIPLOMA 01 – NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN PRE SCHOOL TEACHER TRAINING

ACCREDITATION

• Registered at the children’s secretariat of the state Ministry of Child Affairs, as a National Diploma Course under the National Coordinating Committee on Early Childhood care and development.
•  Registered Diploma under the Tertiary and vocational education commission Sri Lanka of the Ministry of Skills Development & Vocational Training.
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka Recognized Diploma.

DIPLOMA 02 – PEARSON ASSURED DIPLOMA IN MONTESSORI METHOD & PRIMARY EDUCATION

ACCREDITATION

• Registered Diploma under the Tertiary and vocational education commission Sri Lanka of the Ministry of Skills Development & Vocational Training.
• Pearson UK Assured Diploma.
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sri Lanka Recognized Diploma
• The Diploma program is quality assured by Pearson -the UK and the Diploma certificate will be issued by Pearson UK

After completion of this Dual Diploma course, the trainee will possess great confidence in Preschool Montessori & Primary at any local or International Montessori or Schools in Sri Lanka or other foreign countries.
