City & Guilds Qualifications, UK

Founded in 1878 by the Corporation of the City of London, The City and Guilds of London Institute was established to protect and promote the standard of technical education. Today City & Guilds is the global leader in skills development and apprenticeship schemes with a strong belief in the power of skills to build successful careers, businesses, and economies.


Lincoln University College

Lincoln University College was established in 2002 as Lincoln College and upgraded to university status in 2011. There are 11 faculties including Medicine and Health Sciences, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Drama Studies, Nursing, Business and Accounting, Hospitality, Computer Science and Multimedia, Engineering, Science and Social Science, Arts and Humanities. Lincoln University College (LUC) is an Associate Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, a Member of the International Association of Universities, Paris and furthermore approved by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka. LUC was also among the top nine Malaysian Universities in 2020 according to the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. LUC was also rated as Tier 5 (Excellent) by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency under the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. LUC was also awarded a 5-Star Rating in the Malaysian Research Assessment Exercise, making it the highest rated International University in Malaysia in terms of the quality of its research and innovation.


Pearson Qualification, UK

Pearson Edexcel is the UK's largest awarding organization offering academic and vocational qualifications in schools, colleges and workplaces in the UK and abroad. Established in 1836, when a royal charter gave the University of London its first powers to conduct exams and confer degrees on its students, today Pearson Edexcel qualifications help learners either progress to higher education or go directly into employment. Designed to advance learners’ skills while developing knowledge, Pearson Edexcel is grounded in the quality and traditions of the British education system made relevant for today’s UK and international learners.


Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC)

The Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission was established in 1991 as the apex body in the technical and vocational education and training sectors. Its primary responsibility is policy formulation, planning, quality assurance, coordination and development of tertiary and vocational education in the country alongside promoting and maintaining a demand-driven training system relevant to socio-economic goals and changing market needs. The Commission aims to ensure that all citizens have access to the highest possible standards of tertiary and vocational education and training which meet the human resource development needs of the country.


Children’s Secretariat

The Children’s Secretariat was established in order to have a national level focal institution to ensure the holistic development of Sri Lankan children in early childhood through formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programmes. The Secretariat formulates national policies on early childhood care and development, co-ordinates early childhood development programmes, conducts research and implements training programmes concerning the total development of children in their early childhood. The Secretariat is also responsible for educating and raising awareness to the general public on the importance of early childhood.


London Teacher Training College, UK

Based in South London, the London Teacher Training College LTTC was established in 1984 and provides TEFL/TESOL qualifications, regulated and recognized by OFQUAL (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). LTTC were the first to offer TEFL/TESOL courses by distance learning in the UK and partners with over 100 schools worldwide that offer LTTC teacher training programmes as affiliates. Students can follow courses by distance learning or in a classroom environment


OTHM Qualification, UK

OTHM is a UK based Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). OTHM utilizes a network of study centres globally to deliver its qualifications. OTHM qualifications contribute to a highly qualified and experienced workforce.


Sri Lanka Foundation

Established in 1974, the Sri Lanka Foundation is known to be the foremost and pioneering adult education center in Sri Lanka. SLF offers a wide range of academic programs in dynamic fields namely, Social and Institutional Development, Psychology and Counselling, Business and Enterprise Development, Language and ICT, Digital Film Academy and Tourism and Hospitality Managemen
