Lincoln University College

Lincoln University College was established in 2002 as Lincoln College and upgraded to university status in 2011. There are 11 faculties including Medicine and Health Sciences, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Drama Studies, Nursing, Business and Accounting, Hospitality, Computer Science and Multimedia, Engineering, Science and Social Science, Arts and Humanities. Lincoln University College (LUC) is an Associate Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, a Member of the International Association of Universities, Paris and furthermore approved by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka. LUC was also among the top nine Malaysian Universities in 2020 according to the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings. LUC was also rated as Tier 5 (Excellent) by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency under the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. LUC was also awarded a 5-Star Rating in the Malaysian Research Assessment Exercise, making it the highest rated International University in Malaysia in terms of the quality of its research and innovation.

TQUK, or Training Qualifications UK, is a recognized awarding organization in the UK that develops and accredits vocational and technical qualifications. These qualifications are offered through approved training centers across various sectors and are regulated by Ofqual, with many sitting on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) Sri Lanka

The Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission was established in 1991 as the apex body in the technical and vocational education and training sectors. Its primary responsibility is policy formulation, planning, quality assurance, coordination and development of tertiary and vocational education in the country alongside promoting and maintaining a demand-driven training system relevant to socio-economic goals and changing market needs. The Commission aims to ensure that all citizens have access to the highest possible standards of tertiary and vocational education and training which meet the human resource development needs of the country.

Children’s Secretariat Sri Lanka

The Children’s Secretariat was established in order to have a national level focal institution to ensure the holistic development of Sri Lankan children in early childhood through formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programmes. The Secretariat formulates national policies on early childhood care and development, co-ordinates early childhood development programmes, conducts research and implements training programmes concerning the total development of children in their early childhood. The Secretariat is also responsible for educating and raising awareness to the general public on the importance of early childhood.
